Resumen
Migrations constitute forms of movement of people from one place to another in search of new opportunities, with the aim of preserving and improving their quality of life. This paper is the result of a research project conducted with the general objective of proposing: Proposing theoretical constructs based on social imaginaries from the perspective of Venezuelan migrant identity. It was based on the qualitative paradigm of phenomenological research. The informants were five migrants located in five different countries: Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, Peru, and Mexico. The results reflected the reconstruction of the social imaginary underlying the theoretical constructs from a social, cultural, and emotional perspective, revealing the identity they maintain with their nation of origin, their sense of belonging, and the preservation of Venezuelan culture and identity, whose worldviews underlie their daily lives.
