Migración femenina indocumentada

Resumen

La migracion de las mujeres hacia Estados Unidos se habia identificado en funcion del esposo o padre; asimismo, se argumentaba que las mujeres no emigraban como indocumentadas por los riesgos que implicaba, como si ahi terminara la historia de la migracion femenina.Por ambas razones se atribuia que las mujeres tenian una posicion pasiva en el proceso migratorio, por lo que los estudiosos de la tematica aludian su visibilidad en funcion de la migracion masculina.En el presente trabajo presentamos una tesis central: que las mujeres migrantes son actores que participan en los procesos sociales como la migracion, y que dicha migracion no es solo producto del proceso de reunificacion familiar condicionada por la migracion masculina.El objetivo del documento es presentar la experiencia de la migracion femenina en una etapa que he denominado intermedia. ABSTRACT Women's migration to the United States was identified in terms of the husband or father, and it was said that women did not illegally emigrate because the risks of doing so were enormous, as if this were the end of the story of female migration.For both reasons, women were given a passive position in the migratory process and experts on the issue aluded to their invisibility in terms of male migration.This paper presents a central thesis: women migrants are actors who participate in social processes such as migration, and migration is not only the product of a family reunification process conditioned by male migration.The object of the paper is to present me experience of female migration in a stage that I have called intermediate.
