Migración de clavo Kirschner al canal medular cervical, posterior a fijación por luxación acromio-clavicular: Reporte de caso

Resumen

Complications from Kirschner nail migration are not uncommon, some of them being fatal. It is common to use such materials in traumatology, as their placement is not complex, is inexpensive, and is available in any hospital, being used for osteosynthesis in shoulder dislocation fractures. The present case consists of a 48-year-old male patient, a doctor who underwent surgical treatment 3 and a half years ago, due to right clavicular acromial dislocation. One of the nails, after its fatigue, migrated to the cervical spinal canal, entering through the foramen between C7-T1. The patient had symptomatology three days before admission, after physical exertion.
