Resumen

Historically, Colombia has been a country with high levels of migration mobility, being Venezuela one of the main destinations for Colombians; however, this trend has been reversed in recent years, by virtue of the political instability the latter is experiencing. The problem arises when such migratory processes involve situations that affect citizen progress and well-being due to the lack of social security of those involved, in addition to the customs embedded in them, which generate behaviors that shape a new culture in a group liable to modify their own habits. The objective of this study is to analyze colombian-venezuelan migration within the framework of the processes built by citizens and their democracies. It is observed methodologically from the construction of the historical subject and socio-critical analysis. It is interpreted that reality must be urgently attended for the sake of strengthening democracy and its citizens.
