Se busca cupo : poéticas sobre la migración estudiantil

Resumen

Se busca cupo gathers the stories and the struggles of 4 students coming from the fringes of the country to study in the capital. To some of them their first and sometimes only way of accommodation are the students housing services. Those cold, standardized and alienated spaces become a starting point to think themselves as migrant individual and to evaluate their current material conditions. Through a series of objects designed for them (emotional prosthesis) used as an excuse to enter into their lives, I converge past and present . It is also an encounter with my own journey as a student from another city. This project is the beginning of an investigation regarding ways of migration amongst students, their strategies and the compromisos they take in order to survive in an alien place.
