Resumen
To identify the students who present any symptoms that may be the cause of academic stress in \nthe clinical laboratory faculty of the State University of South Manabí. In this descriptive, \nanalytical and cross-sectional design study, which included students who make up the fifth \nsemester A and B. \nA sample of 50 students was obtained. As a material, a 5-question questionnaire was used \nwhich, based on question 3, had different items in order to more easily analyze student \nresponses. The data obtained were analyzed in order to determine how often students are under \nsome symptoms of stress.The results obtained in the test of each of the tables were the following \nin the first table that deals with the frequency that disturb students, resulting in almost always \nthe type of work requested by the teacher such as essays, exams, etc. , in the second table of the \nphysical reactions it gave as results that they rarely do by scratching, biting their nails or \nrubbing, in the third table of the psychological reactions it gave a result of some having \nconcentration problems, in the fourth table of the bodily reactions resulted in sometimes having \na tendency to conflict or a tendency to argue or argue and the fifth table on how students face \nsituations causes them concern or nervousness rarely seek religion and with greater prevalence \nseek how to solve what they cause nervousness. It was made clear that stress in students much \nmore frequently students present stress with the types of work that the teacher leaves them as \nhomework.
