Salud mental positiva en una comunidad de docentes en Ecuador

Resumen
Covid-19 has generated a readjustment in the working life of teachers that requires a high psychological demand, hence the objectives of: 1.- diagnosing the current state of positive mental health (PMH) in a teaching community, 2.- identify factors of psychosocial well-being in the community. With a mixed approach, a positive mental health scale and an interview were used. The results confirm a low level of PMH, with self-control being the most favorable factor with a significant positive relationship with the other factors, with the exception of autonomy. Emerging categories for a healthy professional community were revealed such as: continuous training, collaborative work, emotional well-being, assertive and empathic communication, interdependent human relationships, coping resources, self-care habits, spirituality, constituting the positive organizational climate in an integrating nucleus. A community quality of knowing how to be and coexist is projected with an emphasis on a positive, salutogenic and covitality approach.
