Derechos Humanos Y Estrategias De Encubrimiento Y Legitimación En Discursos Del Instituto Nacional De Migración Sobre La Transmigración Por México (Human Rights and Strategies of Concealment and Legitimization in the National Institute of Migration Discourse on Transit Migration)

Spanish Abstract: El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las estrategias discursivas empleadas por el Instituto Nacional de Migracion (inm) en sus declaraciones respecto a la migracion en transito por el territorio mexicano. Para su logro se analizan las estrategias de encubrimiento y legitimacion en 161 comunicados de prensa del inm referidos a sus actuaciones respecto a la migracion en transito irregular por Mexico. Concluimos que, con ambas estrategias, se pretende (re)legitimar discursivamente las politicas y actuaciones de control migratorio llevadas a cabo por el gobierno mexicano, apoyandose en el discurso de derechos humanos. English Abstract: The objective of this paper is to analyze the discoursive strategies used by the National Institute of Migration (inm) in its texts regarding migration in transit through Mexican territory for political ends. For its achievement, Concealment and legitimation strategies are analyzed in 161 inm press releases of the referring to its actions regarding irregular transit migration in Mexico. With both strategies, this paper intends to discoursively (re)legitimize the policies and actions of migratory control carried out by the Mexican government, relying on the discourse of human rights.
