Resumen

A reality defined by changes due to the crisis of Mexican society has generated \nfundamental rcpercussions in the lives and health of workers and their families. \nThis article strives to stablish the essential historical and conceptual elements that \nhave determined the transformation of the Mexican labor. Analysis of the work-health relationship with regard to changes resulting from labor flexibility has \nbecome a challenge to a new theoretical, methological and technical research \nfield in the process of formation.
