El docente universitario venezolano: calidad de vida y migración

Resumen
The current Venezuelan socioeconomic and educational reality affects the meaning of education, to the detriment of its students. The Venezuelan context has castrated freedom in creating ideas that generate positive change for the benefit of academia and the social environment, in order to improve the quality of life of its members and citizens. It is necessary, in order to provide a quality education, to attend teacher training, but higher education institutions have also been achieved by the rhetoric of productivity, competitiveness and profitability, in the new paradigms of reorganization. In Venezuela, the teacher's salary is barely enough for survival, so there aren't many interested in joining the Academy, when they can earn a lot more even as street vendors. The crisis has led teachers, including from the top university ladder, to emigrate to other countries, with the consequences it entails for the regions, and leaving the classrooms without teachers. This represents a high cost burden on the coffers of any country, exceeding reception capacity, with dire consequences for the Venezuelan and the countries involved, which already feel the negative migration. The development of the country and the region requires targeting improvement in all areas of social life, particularly in the labour environment of Venezuela, where it is necessary to raise employment standards and working conditions, because of knowledge has been punished, while other countries suffer the consequences.
