La migración: una constante nacional y universal : algunas causas y consecuencias

Resumen

This article points out migration as an activity intrinsic to human itself, since it has originated most of the peoples of the world. Nowadays, migration mainly takes place when individuals arrive at countries that are not their own, looking for jobs and better income conditions without fulfilling the official requirements the receiving country demands, which entails the lack of protection of their human rights. Thus, the author proposes as an urgent need to correct the extreme inequities in income distribution and to generate productive employment. In this way, after describing the ongoing migration forms in Mexico, this article names some of the urgent tasks which may be taken on to diminish or prevent migration.
