Resumen

Migration is a social phenomenon that has been present in the reality of the human species for a long time, it has practically been the process that has allowed survival as a species, since it was through these migratory processes that humanity managed to populate the entire planet Therefore, the object of the present work is to determine the implications of this phenomenon for the case of security in the city of Villavicencio, for which, it will be developed as thematic guidelines in this essay, i) the description of the migration phenomenon, ii) the negative impact of this phenomenon, and the way iii) how this phenomenon has been dealt with by public policy.
