Resumen

If we consider the relevance of the dynamics of contemporary migratory processes, it is possible to understand that there are different edges on the same problem. However, in the processes of human mobility, aspects such as the ethnic origin of the migrant, their socio-cultural condition, labor insertion and migratory chains stand out. In the particular case of Ecuador, the migration of indigenous citizens to the European context stands out, where Italy has emerged as a pole of attraction in recent years. Consequently, studying specifically the Ecuadorian female indigenous population in the Italic peninsula during the period 2000-2019, allows to visualize the role of women within the Ecuadorian migratory dynamics, the processes of labor insertion from a gender perspective and the role that migratory networks have played.
