[Urban poverty, migration, and land reform in Ecuador].

Resumen

Working paper on the relationship between rural migration, land reform and urban area poverty trends in Ecuador - compares economic indicators relating to low income and unemployment patterns, looks at levels of agricultural mechanization, farm size, food production, agricultural credit and terms of trade, etc., and questions whether rapid economic growth could have occured without increasing urban poverty.
