Resumen

This article focuses on exposing the capacity of the Colombian State through the actions it put into action and implemented in order to reach the challenges that the migration of Venezuelan population to Colombian territory established from 2014 to 2018. The State supports on human security and international cooperation to satisfy the needs not only of the Venezuelan migrant population but also of the populations that welcomed it. In addition, it can be seen how the government of Colombia develops a process of regularization for people who due to different reasons are irregularly in the country, in order to avoid a different treatment of migrants who reside on a regular basis in the territory. Finally, it establishes the importance that the Colombian country gives to human security and international cooperation with the multiple actions it carried out to achieve adequate attention to the migratory phenomenon of Venezuelans, providing the necessary guarantees to comply with the fundamental rights of the human being.
