Resumen

In the last thirty years, the use of statistical techniques in the analysis and prediction of outcomes in public health has taken hold, as these techniques allow multi-causal analysis to any event and allow us to consider demographic, clinical, social, accessibility to health services, laboratory or imaging results, people at risk of developing health event object of interest. Outcomes that are often predicted from these techniques are: presence of infection or disease, treatment assignment, degree of severity and death.
