espanolEntre el mundo de la salud y el mundo del voluntariado ha habido una permanente complicidad; las principales practicas y discursos sobre la accion gratuita se han producido cuando ambos mundos se han enriquecido mutuamente. A partir de la donacion de la sangre, Titmus construyo los mapas conceptuales del voluntariado moderno. Desde entonces, la accion voluntaria ha ido madurando al son de las trasformaciones acontecidas en la representacion de la salud. En la actualidad se convocan ambos en torno a la educacion para la salud, que constituye el desafio principal de nuestro tiempo. Se espera del voluntariado que se acomode critica y activamente a los cambios que vive el mundo de la salud; promueva las tres ecologias de la salud: ambiental, social y espiritual. Y. asimismo, contribuya decisivamente a la creacion de una inteligencia colectiva capaz de hacer propuestas de vida buena y feliz como alternativa a la actual idolatria de la salud.
