Resumen

Bullying phenomenon (Olweus, 1993) and its consequences has been studied during the last three decades; however, its incidence is still very high. The Ombudsmen’s report about school violence in our classrooms assess in this sense (AAVV, 2007). Researchers on this topic agreed that this aggressive behaviour is a result of bad relationships between pupils and is an indicator of scholar inadaptation (Cerezo, 2008). To this situation we have to add that teenagers have nowadays more opportunities to develop behaviours that imply a high risk for their health such as the use of toxic substances, the search for extreme sensations, etc. In its last report about young people and drugs use, the Health Institute (DGPNSD,2007a) advises about precocity in the starting age in consuming alcohol and drugs, and the easiness to getting them. We see the need to carry out a research on the relationships between bullying and other risk behaviours among adolescents. The main objective was to make an analysis and descriptive approximation to relationships between bullying behaviours (in their double face of aggression and victimization) and other risk behaviours related to health as the Starting and frequency in consume of drugs and how it is connected to other risk behaviour in adolescents The sample was composed by 113 adolescents from both genders, from 14-18 year old. Test BULLS (Cerezo, 2000) and the national adolescents and drugs survey (ESTUDES) were used. We found that 12.4% of the pupils were involved in bullying (4.4% as bullies and 8% as victims). Results pointed out that, boys are more involved than girls, and that in general, aggressive adolescents are more inclined to consuming tobacco and alcohol, and to exhibit certain risk behaviour.
