Los aspectos socioculturales de la migración en la frontera norte

Resumen

Mexico is considered as the most important migrants country, and the United States is the main immigrants one. Its geographical location closed to the north border, makes Mexico an attractive country for Central American countries migration flow. Nowadays, it faces the challenges of the international financial crisis of last years that have affected the countries’ economies and their bilateral relations. In this work a study of the problems related to sociocultural aspects provoked by people migration has been carried out. It also analyzes strengths and weaknesses, and tries to identify new migration aspects in order to propose alternatives to improve the Mexican migrants life conditions.
