Determinantes sociales de la salud asociados a la salud familiar

Resumen

Medicine increases continuously its social focus, and the family as a fundamental unit of society, is a subject of vital work for the health work team. The family has an important impact on the development of the health-disease process. The social determinants of health explain most of health inequities, that is, of the unfair and avoidable differences in regard to the health situation. For this purpose, in this paper are discussed some aspects of the impact of social determinants of health in the functioning of the family and family health.
