An Occupational Therapy Experience in Ecuador

Resumen

This paper describes the experiences of the author, her husband and a physical therapist who travelled to Ecuador in 1989 for three months to volunteer in their professions. It highlights aspects of health care in that country and of occupational therapy education and practice. It focuses on their teaching experiences in various settings and on their participation in the development of a daily living skills program for the disabled.
