Christina Ewig* Humphrey School of Public AffairsUniversity of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USAChristina Ewig is Professor of Public Affairs and Faculty Director of the Center on Women, Gender and Public Policy at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota. Professor Ewig's research centres on the politics of gender, race and ethnicity in Latin America. She has published widely on gender, race and health and pension reforms in the region. Her current research analyses the relationship between political parties, the rise of women and indigenous peoples in political office, and the kinds of policies produced by Latin American legislatures. Her articles have appeared in Comparative Political Studies, Feminist Studies, Social Science & Medicine, World Development and Social Politics among other journals. She has held a number of fellowships; in 2019–20, she was a Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars.
