Migración del asistente de prácticas de seguridad informática al entorno ASP.NET

Resumen

La migracion de contenidos digitales esta a la orden del dia. Servidores, redes, centros de datos, ampliacion de servicios, aplicaciones, entre otras. Las razones son multiples, y cuando hablamos de aplicaciones la principal razon suele ser que las tecnologias y arquitecturas utilizadas en el momento de la implementacion estan ya obsoletas. Lo que provoca que a pesar de que sigan funcionando, tengan un gran coste en su actualizacion, ampliacion e incluso su mantenimiento. Este caso es el que tenemos con el Asistente de Practicas de Seguridad Informatica (APSI). Es por ello, que se ha tomado la decision de migrar esta aplicacion con tecnologia HTML 1.0 de los 90, hacia un entorno mas moderno ASP .NET con HTML 5.0, con las ventajas que ello supone, entre otras la capacidad de actualizar la aplicacion de una manera eficiente, minimizando el tiempo de desarrollo. Al final del proyecto tendremos en nuestras manos una aplicacion estable, capaz de responder a los cambios, lista para ser publicada en Internet, en el dominio elegido, e incluso para publicarse de manera local en el equipo del usuario, y para una vista previa la tendremos disponible en Azure, como veremos en el capitulo 1. Todo ello, trabajando con herramientas de Microsoft, como Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services o Azure, que permiten hacer un seguimiento del desarrollo tanto del programador como del cliente. Abstract: The migration of digital content is the order of the day. Servers, networks, data centers, service expansion, applications, among others. The reasons are multiple, and when we talk about applications the main reason is usually that the technologies and architectures used at the time of implementation are already obsolete. What causes that although they continue to work, have a great cost in its update, expansion and even maintenance. That case is the one we have with the Asistente de Practicas de Seguridad informatica (APSI). For this reason, the decision was made to migrate this application with HTML 1.0 technology from the 1990s, to a more modern environment, ASP .NET with HTML 5.0, with the advantages that this entails, among others the ability to update the application in an efficient manner, minimizing the time of development. At the end of the project we will have in our hands a stable application, capable of responding to changes, ready to be published on the Internet, in the chosen domain, and even to be published locally on the user's computer, and for a preview we will have it available in Azure, as we will see in chapter 1. All this, working with Microsoft tools, such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Team Services or Azure, that allows both the developer and the customer to analyze the development.
