Resumen
In this article I link two phenomena-variables that until today -except for few exceptions- have been studied in isolation: International Migration and Indigenous Peoples. While international migration today is addressed by all social sciences (Arango, 2003, p. 1), the indigenous, Anthropolog y’s main study subjects, have only recently begun to be analyzed from other disciplines. In this context, I identified four theoretical and methodological problems to analyze and define indigenous migrants who cross the nation-states that have historically inhabited. These difficulties have led to a split between the two phenomena-variables, undeniable condition in the treatment of Aymara-Quechua internationalmigrantsresiding in Buenos Aires
