LA MIGRACIÓN INTERNA Y SUS EFECTOS EN LA SALUD MENTAL. UN ANÁLISIS DESDE EL PSICODIAGNÓSTICO DE RORSCHACH

Resumen

La presente comunicacion configura un avance del proyecto UBACyT 2008-2010 (P060) denominado “Efectos de la migracion en la Salud Mental”. La migracion es tomada como un suceso que produce efectos emocionales por dejar los entornos familiares para afrontar un nuevo entorno socio-cultural, poniendo en riesgo la salud mental. El estudio pretende detectar el impacto en la realidad psiquica de los sujetos migrados internos (desde el interior u otras provincias hacia la ciudad de Santiago del Estero especificamente) a partir de la aplicacion del Psicodiagnostico de Rorschach y otros instrumentos especificos. Se trata de un estudio exploratorio-descriptivo, cuya unidad de analisis corresponde a sujetos adultos de ambos sexos comprendidos entre 18 y 60 anos. La muestra, de caracter intencional, esta integrada por 60 individuos (30 migrados y 30 de grupo control) a quienes se administra en forma individual el test de Rorschach siguiendo los criterios de la Escuela Argentina. Asimismo, se aplican a cada protocolo las escalas E.S.P.A. y E.F.Y.R. para evaluar el potencial de riesgo suicida y el estado actual de las Funciones Yoicas de realidad, respectivamente. Se presenta como ejemplo el analisis de diez casos evaluados, correspondientes a sujetos migrados y al grupo control como primeros resultados preliminares. AN ANALYSIS FROM THE RORSCHACH TEST This communication sets up a project progress UBACyT 20082010 (P060) entitled “Impact of migration on Mental Health”. The migration is considered an event that produces emotional effects as the person needs to leave family environments to meet a new socio-cultural environment, threatening his mental health. The study aims to identify the impact on the psychic reality of the individuals migrated internally (from inside or other provinces to the city of Santiago del Estero specifically) through the application of the Rorschach test and other specific instruments. This is an exploratory-descriptive study, which sample is formed by adult subjects of both sexes ranging between 18 and 60 years of age. The sample, intentional, is composed of 60 individuals (30 migrated and 30 control group) who were individually administered the Rorschach according to the criteria of the Escuela Argentina. Also, the E.S.P.A. and E.F.Y.R. scales were applied to each protocol to assess potential suicide risk and the current state of the ego functions of reality, respectively. An analysis of fourteen cases is hereby presented as example and early results, showing the responses of migrated individuals in comparison with subject that belong to the control group.
