Importancia del Balance Social en las Cooperativas en Ecuador

Resumen

Cooperativism, a universal philosophy of \nwell-being and mutual help, It is necessary to \nidentify its true presence in the economic-\nsocial context. Research is carried out with \nthe aim of showing: cooperative identity, \nsocial responsibility assumed and applied, \nplanning, budget and social intervention and \ncooperative benefits in Ecuador. \nThe Social Balance is a management tool that \ncollects quantitative and qualitative results \nof fulfillment of Cooperative Social \nResponsibility. It allows evaluating its \nperformance both in terms of assets and liabil\nities during a given period as well as\nin \nthe analysis and monitoring of improvement \nareas according to cooperati\nve principles .\nThe Superintendency of Popular and \nSolidarity Economy in Ecuador, indicated that \nthe Socia\nl Balance is a tool for constant\nuse, \nwhi\nch is not necessarily done\nunder a \ntraditional accounting balance\nscheme\n. \nThrough t\nhis tool \nit is possibl\ne to qualify\nthe \nsocial responsibility of Coo\nperatives in\nenvironmental, \neconomic and social areas
