Resumen

Over the last years migration between Mexico and the United States have been associated to the transmission of AIDS and Tuberculosis. Voices from the United States suggest that Mexicans are introducing Tuberculosis to their country. By the same token, voices from Mexico suggest that Mexican migrants return to their country carrying AIDS. We also suggest that bottom-up projects based on people's mobilization showed being a successful path in combating infectious diseases and suggest that taking advantage of the organization of zacatecan migrants in clubs and federations could be of importance as a public health policy.
