La migración interestatal como agente del cambio cultural en San Sebastián de Alcomunga, Puebla

Resumen

This paper aims to present the main cultural changes in a village of Sierra Negra of Puebla as a result of migration dynamics suffered by this region for over three decades. Certainly spatial mobility that occurs in the community of Alcomunga, is a clear example of the current term with the processes of internal migration in our country, not only by the flow of thousands of people leaving their homeland in search of labor and the satisfaction of their most pressing needs, but also by the presence of “contact zones” where happen a series of processes of cultural hybridization that impact both communities of origin and destination of migrants.
