Ciencias sociales. Un nuevo momento

Resumen

The new moment in the social scien- ces entails the need to renew theoretical instru- ments, meet the demands of social complexity and prepare the new generations of social scien- tists to improve their ability to apply knowledge. The study attempts to describe the most impor- tant features of this new stage and to review aspects of the development of these disciplines in Mexico and the institutional elements that have been part of the training of professionals and research in recent decades. Lastly, it points out some of the problems faced by Mexican social sciences during this new stage.
