Resumen

Primary health care is considered the entrance to the health care system, in this sense, it is essential to guarantee the equity of health care services. It is in this context where the administrators, as well as the health professionals linked to this area, play a fundamental role in the activities of planning, development and management of the health services. Therefore, the objective was aimed at describing the importance of health administrators and health workers in primary care between 2018 and 2022. To achieve this, an exhaustive review of studies, selection, data extraction, synthesis of information, analysis and discussion of results. In this way, it is evident that primary health care is an elementary component of health care systems worldwide, and in turn, is essential to achieve universal health coverage. Likewise, the importance of administrators and health workers to offer equal access to health care services is emphasized.
