Resumen
As a consequence of the international conflicts that have taken place since the Arab Spring boom in the countries of the Middle East, the migration crisis has attacked the countries of the European Union, thus exposing the weaknesses in migration policies. Thus, there is evidence of the need to develop coordinated solutions to address this problem, to mitigate the phenomenon that is not only affecting the frontline States, but also the security of the entire union (Devia Garzon, 2017, p. 145). As a result of the above, modifications have been made, where a more active participation of the members of the union is established, in order to comprehensively manage the problem for both the union and migrants (Devia Garzon, 2017 , p. 148), emerging as the basis of this paper How has international cooperation helped in the implementation of regional policies to face the wave of migration in Europe? This paper intends to determine the circumstances in which regional cooperation has mitigated the negative effects of migratory crises in Europe since the beginning of the Arab Spring, as a trigger for the conflict in the Middle East. To this end, the present will be organized as follows: first, it is intended to identify the impact of the Arab Spring on conflicts in the Middle East, and how the migration of refugees to European Union countries increased; Second, analyze the impact of the migration crisis in the member countries of the union; Third, evaluate the policies implemented in the recipient countries and finally identify the benefits of regional policies in the European Union after the Middle East migration crisis.
