Efecto de la migración venezolana en el índice de homicidios de Ecuador

Resumen

In this study, I analyze the homicide rates evolution in Ecuador, in monthly, biannual, and annual time frames, during a period of high immigration from Venezuela. I use a panel data, retrieved from the Ministerio de Gobierno del Ecuador. The data contains information on migration flows between the years 2010 – 2019, as well as the number of homicides by city, province, and national level.
