Consecuencias del nuevo paradigma migratorio en México: ¿hacia un cambio de modelo de gestión pública de la migración?

Resumen

The primary objective of this article is to analyze how the shift in Mexico’s migratory paradigm has influenced its public policies on migration. This analysis is conducted through a methodology grounded in standard legal research techniques, emphasizing the examination of data derived from multiple documented sources, including legislation, jurisprudence, scholarly doctrine, advisory opinions, reports, and records. The study thoroughly investigates the context and actions implemented, with particular focus on the most innovative alternatives, such as the Migrant Integration Centers (CIM), concluding that material limitations and Mexico’s dependency on the United States undermine their effectiveness. The research is oriented toward a field with significant practical application, aiming to produce findings that are valuable for both the academic community and various legal practitioners, particularly public administrations, while prompting reflection on the identified shortcomings.
