Education 4.0 and its impact on the educational system during the pandemic and post pandemic Covid 19 in Ecuador

Resumen

The technological advances that the world has experienced over the years have brought about important changes in the structures of society. Education is one of the fields in which the industrial revolution, driven by technological development, exerted a significant impact, as technology allowed the student to freely access more information and therefore more knowledge. Education 2.0 and 3.0 brought not only access to information, but also greater connectivity and interaction between people, particularly between teachers and their students. The dynamism of technology also brought opportunities for innovation with Education 4.0, changing the existing paradigm until its emergence by merging the digital, the biological and the physical, and influencing the way of life of the individual, his relationship with those around him and his skills to meet the demands and basic roles in society. These changes meant the application of new educational methodologies, oriented to a meaningful learning that prepares the individual with the necessary skills to face the working world.
