Implementación de la metodología de reingeniería de software OAR y la metodología de migración de software de ISO/IEC 14764 al aplicativo TurnStat de la empresa Dinámica y Desarrollo.

Resumen

This article documents the experience of applying the methodology of software reengineering Options Analysis for Reengineering (OAR) and the ISO/IEC 14764 numeral 5.5 of software migration to the TurnStat application of the company Dinamica y Desarrollo, SAS. When applying the OAR reengineering methodology, the extraction context was identified, the inventory of components was generated, those components were analyzed, a reengineering plan was built, and the reengineering process was applied based on the built plan. Subsequently, the migration process of the application from its Ubuntu 14.04 to Ubuntu 18.04 operating system was carried out. For this process, ISO/IEC 14764 numeral 5.5 was used, which suggests the following guidelines: 1) notification of migration start, 2) implementation, 3) notification of completion, 4) post-operation review, and 5) storage of information from the previous environment. As a result of applying these methodologies, version 3.2.1 of this application was obtained, with a better structure and code of better interpretation. Applying these methodologies to the application gave a clear path to follow and avoided taking routes that would unnecessarily delay the project.
