An indicator is a variable or quantitative or qualitative factor that provides a simple and reliable means to measure achievement, to \nreflect the changes connected to an intervention or to help assess the results of a development agency medium, is a measure of public \nhealth surveillance, is a factor associated with health in a specific population, they determine directly or indirectly modifications thus \ngiving an idea of the status of a condition, therefore they are a key measure of the health of a population pillar system maternal health. \nThis article shows the state of the art of maternal health as an indicator of inequity in health. \n
