This book focuses on the analysis of the relationship between international migration and development in Mexico; it presents details on the alterations to the Mexican demographic, economic and social fields due to migration. The report shows multiple dimensions and implications of the wealth sent to the origin communities, the characteristics of regional development under the migratory scheme, and the theory and practice of the return of the migrant, a question not widely covered by other studies in this subject
