Resumen
, which is an acanthocephale of great infectious capacity and unspecific for the ultimate host, for which it may be considered a potential parasite for the people who eat raw fish as "cebiche", a typical dish of our country, is given in the present work. The presence of mature eggs of C. obtuscens in the feces of a non-habitual host is reported for the first time.
