Resumen

This research note is an advancement of the work which is entitled “Spatial transformations generated by transnational migration. The case Axochiapan (Morelos)-Twin Cities (Minnesota)”, which seeks to answer the central question of how international migration transforms or reconstructs space, and which implications are derived from that. In addition to highlight the context in which this research is conducted, we briefly present the state of the art about this migration flow and the applied methodology. The results here presented focus in the analytical model of the relationship between space and international migration.
