Resumen

This thesis report: MIGRATION OF RETURN IN THE PATRONAL PARTY IN HONOR OF THE VIRGEN DE LA PUERTA IN THE DISTRICT OF OTUZCO, incluye a research period octubre – december 2018. Has the purpose of explaining a social fact of marked transcendence for the anthropology of religions, through of the application of social research methods and techniques. The return migration in the Patronal Feast in Honor of the Virgin de La Puerta de Otuzco It is a social event marked by devotion to the Virgin and family reunion. The Patronal Feast constitutes a sacred time and space, mainly because it crystallizes the strength of devotion to the Virgin, which manifests itself through petitions, promises and miracles. The migrants make requests to the Virgin and as a sign of reciprocity towards her because the miracles granted make promises, in this way the fulfillment of these commitments, but also the reunion with the family, which is an event marked by the emotionality of this event So important, it leads to the annual return of those who left Otuzco, experiencing an eternal return to their hometown.
