Resumen

Through this revue we pretend to clear up a series of social believes that not only people in general have, but also professionals who work in the mental health area have about the abuse that a significative percentage of women suffer in their relationships throughout the world. We hope that this revision could be a great help for those professionals who not knowing this problematic could misinterpret the victims' psychological reactions with personality traits and as a result double victimizing them with on inaccurate assessment and intervention
