Reflexiones para la investigación de la salud de los trabajadores

Resumen

This paper bring us a reflection about epidemiological research in occupational \nhealth, arising a controversy in reference to the conventional ways of abording \nthe problem. Comments the role of occupational health in national policies and \nits conflictivity due to their potential for increasing social contradictions and \nstruggles. The category “work” is reviewed, focusing its relationship with \nworkers health coditions and wellbeing. Present an alternative proposal, \nemphasizing the needs of developing new categories of analysis and of increasing \nworkers participation and empowerment.
