La interacción de los derechos humanos y económicos en la migración irregular

Resumen
Irregular migration is a social phenomenon significantly impacting the country of destination. For a comprehensive understanding, we need to analyze both the causes in the country of origin and the responses from the receiving country. In this line of thought, the country of destination must implement inclusive migratory public policies. This documentary research work aims to analyze the interaction between human and economic rights in the context of irregular migration, by following a qualitative descriptive approach and an analytic-synthetic method. Findings suggest that human and economic rights are closely related and that economic factors solely are not the main driver of irregular migration.
