Resumen

When observing the phenomenon of migration from different perspectives, particularly in El Salvador, the causes compelling people to move from one place to another become evident. This movement often risks their lives and limits their enjoyment of rights. The in-depth study of the relationship between irregular migration and fundamental rights is crucial, as this helps determine the extent of violations and the physical and psychological exposure faced by individuals who migrate irregularly. By leaving their countries of origin, migrants renounce the protection afforded by birthright or territorial rights. Therefore, studying migration from a legal standpoint is necessary, as it enables the classification of violations and the formulation of solutions that facilitate regular and orderly migration, thereby reducing global disorder and preventing more individuals from falling prey to a phenomenon that frequently brings pain and sorrow to families. From this perspective, the aim is to raise awareness among the general population to discourage irregular migration, which dangerously exposes vulnerable groups, including children, pregnant women, the elderly, and even young people who are more likely to migrate.
