Catalogue of known species of Acari from the Galapagos Islands (Ecuador, Pacific ocean)

Resumen

Abstract A catalogue of Acari known from the Galapagos Islands is presented. Only 89 species and subspecies belonging to 14 families have been reported until now. Bibliography, general distribution, and distribution on the islands is given for each species. The hosts are included for the parasitic species.
