The Cañón Zapata Project is a unique research experience thanks to its systematic harvesting of data. The content of this article displays and discusses the project's results until June 1998. The author deals with entrance and exit migratory flows from Mexico to the United States, and his main concern is the analysis of the characteristics of the undocumented migration to the U.S.
