La dignidad en los cuidados de salud

espanolSalvaguardar la dignidad del paciente, el respeto a su dignidad o un trato digno son las proposiciones que acompanan a la definicion de unos buenos cuidados de enfermeria. Ahora bien, este comun acuerdo, se torna mas dificil y complejo a la hora de definir el concepto mismo de dignidad. ?Que es la dignidad? ?Que implica el respeto a la dignidad del paciente? ?En que se fundamenta? El concepto de respeto a la dignidad es clave para la profesion enfermera ya que delimita una de las areas que hacen del enfermo un ser mas vulnerable. Con el presente texto pretendemos una aproximacion al concepto de dignidad del paciente. On which it is based? The concept of respect to the dignity is key for the profession nurse since it delimits one of the areas that make of the patient a more vulnerable being. With the present text we try an approach to the concept of dignity of the patient.
