LA EMIGRACIÓN VENEZOLANA RUMBO A ESPAÑA: CARACTERÍSTICAS SOCIO-DEMOGRÁFICAS E INSERCIÓN LABORAL DE UNA MIGRACIÓN LATINOAMERICANA EN TIEMPOS DE CRISIS

Resumen

Este articulo se centra en el fenomeno emigratorio venezolano actualcon direccion a Espana, un tema del cual han hablado ampliamentelos medios de comunicacion en ambos lados del Atlantico, pero elcual ha sido practicamente inexplorado por las Ciencias Sociales, adiferencia de otros flujos de migrantes latinoamericanos. En primerlugar vamos a detenernos en el panorama migratorio venezolanoactual, haciendo hincapie en el cambio de paradigma migratorioque ha experimentado el pais en estas ultimas decadas. En segundolugar, nos centraremos en las caracteristicas socio-demograficas dela poblacion migrante venezolana en Espana. En base a ellas, nospreguntamos por la especificidad de la poblacion venezolana respectoa la latinoamericana en general y, en particular, en su insercional mercado de trabajo espanol, teniendo en cuenta el impacto de lacrisis economica que afecta Espana desde el ano 2008. Thisone is a topic that has been very treated by the mass media in bothsides of the Atlantic Ocean, but not much for the Social Sciences, incontrast with the numerous studies on Latin-American migrations. Thefirst section describes the phenomenon from Venezuela and the changeof migratory paradigm lived by the country in the latter decades. Thesecond section analyzes the social and demographic characteristics ofthe Venezuelan population in Spain. According to these characteristics,the article describes the specificity of the Venezuelan population with regard to the Latin-American one and, especially, in her insertion tothe Spanish labours market and the impact of the economic crisis.Key words: Venezuelan migration, Latin-American immigration, Venezuela,Spain, labour market. Un sujet sur lequel les medias ont beaucoup parle desdeux cotes de l’Atlantique, mais en revanche, les Sciences Socialesne l’ont presque traite, en contraste avec les nombreuses recherchessur des autres flux migratoires latino-americains. En premier lieu, nousallons mettre en contexte l’emigration depuis le Venezuela, en mettantl’accent sur le changement du paradigme migratoire que ce pays aexperimente dans ces dernieres decennies. En deuxieme lieu, l’articledecrire les caracteristiques sociodemographiques de cette populationmigrante. A partir de ces caracteristiques, nous nous demanderonspar la specificite de la migration venezuelienne par rapport a la latinoamericaineen general et, en particulier, dans son insertion au marchede travail espagnol, en tenant compte des consequences de la criseeconomique qui touche l’Espagne depuis 2008.
