Given the deterioration of transmission equipment Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH) Link Mall El Jardin - Inaquito System Fiber Optic Networks National Telecommunications Corporation CNT EP and lack of ability to transmit E1's, Ethernet services and Fast Ethernet simultaneously, which are required by the customer, are reasons to seek an alternative to provide these services to meet the needs, using this link, fully exploiting their unused transmission capacity. The PDH link transmits E1's services which can not be monitored by the iManager U2000 Huawei software used for system management CNT EP fiber optic, cross – conexion manual, are issues for which there is a need to migrate a new transport technology and in which it is proposed that the new technology is Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH). The proposal aims to migrate E1's services currently work with PDH transport technology SDH transport technology, through equipment having the technology to host these services and in turn have the ability to transmit Ethernet services, Fast Ethernet and future allow increased transmission capacity, thus maximizing the resources of the link. The SDH technology will have remote monitoring E1's existing on the link by the Network Management System Fiber Optic CNT EP. Through an economic analysis, the initial capital investment was established through financial tools Net (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) Present Value and Capital Recovery Period (PCR) was calculated, the results of these calculations established that the investment is profitable and the payback period is less than one year which in a telecommunications project is favorable.
