Resumen
First report by kyphoscoliosis in Stenocercus guentheri (Iguania: Tropiduridae), Andes Norte de Ecuador. In the parish of Tababela, Quito, on the dry scrub ecosystem of an Interandino valley, in X 2013 there was recorded a specimen of adult female of the Sauri Stenocercus guentheri presenting kyphosis and scoliosis. The specimen presents deformation in the cervical, lumbar and caudal region; however, it did not present difficulties in mobilizing or fleeing predators. This finding is the first report of Cifoesclerosis in a lizard endemic to Ecuador.
